Weeds

For the majority of my life, walking has been my chosen mode of transportation. I walked to elementary, middle and high school. In college I walked everywhere as well. These daily strolls allow me to notice things that I'd miss if I were in a car or even on a bike. That's what this collection is inspired by - the immense variety of flowering weeds that I encounter while I’m walking. They’re something that can so easily be overlooked. I’m in awe of the variety and beauty that these “weeds” possess, and inspired by the ability they have to grow anywhere, through cracks in the sidewalk, in between bricks, and sneaking into perfectly curated flower beds.
